Development of needs-based planning models for substance use services and supports in Canada

National Project

Project description/objectives

This project aims to develop and pilot test a model for estimating the required capacity of substance use treatment services based on population needs. The model will improve the ability of Canadian jurisdictions to systematically measure the need for substance use services and supports and to use this information to improve treatment systems and client outcomes.
