The goals of the Expanding the Reach: Outreach to Women with Disabilities program at Scarborough Women’s Centre are to empower women with disabilities to make positive changes in their lives and community at large. This is achieved through educational workshops and leadership development opportunities. Currently, we are in the process of connecting with community organizations to reach more women with disabilities and provide free training to organizations that will strengthen their capacity to support women with disabilities.

Included in this email you will find information about Scarborough Women’s Centre and the Expanding the Reach program. There is also a flyer inviting you to a training that will increase your awareness of violence against women with disabilities. Please feel free to post and distribute this information within your agency and networks.
