Overdose monitoring and response for Ontario

Upcoming webinar

Join this webinar to hear about two new advances in overdose monitoring.  This webinar will demonstrate the Overdose Detection Mapping Application Program (ODMAP) and the Interactive Opioid Tool.
The ODMAP is a remarkably simple tool that offers real-time overdose monitoring.  It relies on first responders to report overdose occurrences.
The Interactive Opioid Tool is a new tool from Public Health Ontario that allows users to explore the most recent opioid-related morbidity and mortality data including emergency department visits, hospitalizations and deaths.

Space is limited.  Register here!

The presenters:

  • Jeff Beeson, Deputy Director and Chief of Staff, Washington/Baltimore High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area, supported through the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy.
  • Karin Hohenadel, Manager and Epidemiologist, Public Health Ontario.
  • Michael Parkinson, Community Engagement Coordinator and Drugs Strategy Specialist, Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council.

Note: This webinar will be recorded and will be posted at www.eenet.ca.

Presented in partnership with the Waterloo Region Crime Prevention Council and the Opioid Overdose Prevention and Naloxone Access (OOPNA) working group by the Opioid Resource Hub, which is part of EENet, located in the Provincial System Support Program at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH).
