On Friday, September 9, 2016, CAMH Addictions Rounds presented: "Women and Trauma Stream, Integrated Day Treatment Service: Client and Staff Experience."

This webinar provided an overview of the following:

  • the service that the Women and Trauma Stream (WTS), Integrated Day Treatment provides;
  • what we were trying to accomplish in developing this service;
  • the client and staff experience in the WTS.

The presenters

All of the presenters share an interest and passion for clinical practice and education related to working with women who have experienced trauma. The presenters represent members of the interprofessional team of the Women and Trauma Stream of the Intensive Day Treatment Service of the ACST Program. The goal of the service is to help women manage their core symptoms of trauma, increase their resilience, and assist with linkages into the community.

Addictions Round is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
