New clinical guide offers tips on how to deliver virtual care

In March 2020, Ontario Health’s Quality Branch shared a draft version of clinical guidance for virtual visits. This guide offers practical advice to health care providers on providing video visits and secure messaging to clients. The document was developed shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic and arose in part out of interviews with health care providers taking part in virtual care pilot projects across Ontario. This synopsis is based on a draft of the clinical guidance and a date for a final version has not yet been released.
