Webinar: Strengthening Your Voice

The Strengthening Your Voice (SYV) program was created in 2012 by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in partnership with those with lived experience and their family members. It was developed to train people with lived experience of prescription opioid problems and their family members to tell their stories publicly. The goals of the program are to raise awareness and educate people about the dangers of prescription opioids, humanize the issue of opioid misuse, reduce stigma, and change negative attitudes towards people with lived experience of opioid problems.
